On 7 July 2020, the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development, EDF National Authorising Officer, and H.E. the Ambassador, Head of European Union Delegation in Cameroon, signed an agreement for the early disbursement of the fixed instalment of the European Union Budget Support for the 2020 financial year, amounting to 9 million euros, or about CFA 6 billion francs.
The flexibility of the framework for the implementation of actions resulting from the cooperation with the European Union enabled the European partner to join in the fight against this pandemic. This extremely useful financial allocation received in the context of an unforeseen health crisis testifies to the dynamic partnership between Cameroon and the European Union.
